Chief Operating Officer
Sean Wade joined NYSARC Trust Services as the Chief Operating Officer in 2019. Sean began his professional career working in various roles of financial services before transitioning to the not-for-profit healthcare and disability sector. Prior to joining NYSARC Trust Services, Sean held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Cerebral Palsy of Westchester where he oversaw daily operations, program evaluation, and financial and regulatory aspects of OPWDD certified programs.
He received his bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from SUNY Oneonta followed by a Master of Public Administration in Healthcare Administration from Marist College.
Nancy E. Cannon
Associate Chief Operating Officer
Nancy E. Cannon, Associate Chief Operating Officer, has administered programs for NYSARC, Inc. for over 25 years. She has provided technical assistance and support to NYSARC Chapters and families. Ms. Cannon was assigned nine times as Acting Executive Director to oversee NYSARC Chapters across the state. In her role with NYSARC, she was also a liaison with State agencies in program and fiscal areas, regulatory change, and new initiatives.
Ms. Cannon has worked extensively on guardianship, aging issues, and publications relating to aging, hospice and palliative care for people with disabilities. Ms. Cannon transferred to NYSARC, Inc. Trust Services in 2012 where she strives to bring her knowledge, caring and integrity to the administration and operation of the expanding Trust Services division.
Ms. Cannon attended Connecticut College and then Goucher College for her undergraduate studies in microbiology and Cornell University for her graduate studies in business and plant sciences. Following graduate school she was recruited to build and operate a greenhouse range and landscape business to offer therapy and employment for people for disabilities. That business is still successfully operating today. Annamarie Coleman, CPA
Trust Financial Officer
Annamarie Coleman, CPA joined the trust in 2005 as the Controller and was one of the first five employees at NYSARC Trust Services. She gained extensive experience working in public accounting for a Fortune 500 company and the not-for-profit industry.
Today she leads the accounting department and is a member of the Executive Leadership team where she brings more than 30 years in accounting and financial management experience to her role as Trust Financial Officer. Annamarie oversees the accounting staff and ensures timely and accurate posting of beneficiary transactions, reconciliation of beneficiary accounts, and trust financial reporting. She is dedicated to helping our beneficiaries and has been an integral part in managing key projects that have led to significant growth of the trust.
Annamarie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New York State Society of CPAs. Annamarie earned a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from St. Michael’s College.Read Less
