Helping people with disabilities protect benefit eligibility since 1972

Our Trusts

NYSARC administers pooled supplemental needs trusts (SNT) that allow New York residents with disabilities and older adults with chronic care needs to spend-down excess income and/or resources to become financially eligible and preserve eligibility for means-tested government benefits such as Medicaid and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

In addition to safeguarding a person's benefits, our trust programs help further improve their quality of life by paying for items and services that their benefits do not provide.

NYSARC's trust programs have helped more than 20,000 people protect their eligibility for benefits and improve their quality of life.
